Lewis Stringer from British Business Bank will be speaking at our final Accelerating Growth event, looking at finding the right funding to help scale up your business.

Finance that Fits will take place on Wednesday 28th April at 1pm and will also feature panellists from We Are Radikl, OpenWrks and Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Sign up via Eventbrite here.

Ahead of the event, Lewis said:

“The British Business Bank is the government’s economic development bank, and we’re tasked with making it easier for SMEs to access finance by increasing funding options and raising awareness about funding.

“So we’re delighted to be part of Invest in Nottingham’s Finance That Fits seminar on 28 April because it presents a great opportunity to respond to some of the question’s the city’s scale-up businesses have about financing growth.

“While it’s been a tough time for business during the pandemic, we have also seen clear evidence that some firms have grasped new opportunities – responding to changed markets with changed mindsets and changed business models.

My message to scale-ups is to find out as much as you can about financing growth as early as you can. This is the start of the journey to making the right choices for you and your business

I’m really looking forwards to hearing from Nottingham’s scale-up businesses because they’re really important to the city’s future, and to debating these issues with my fellow panellists. This series is called Accelerating Growth and that’s what we all want to see happen!”
