Nottingham Development Enterprise
NDE is a regeneration organisation established by the business community in 1987 to make Nottingham(shire) 'a better place to live and work'.
Our work involves a 'seeing is believing' approach through undertaking specific economic development and infrastructure projects which demonstrate the validity of NDE's ideas and which help to inform and set the local agenda. An example of such a project is Nottingham's NET (Tram) scheme which came from an idea first developed by NDE.

- Acting as a think tank - a source of new ideas and approaches to tackling local issues
- Identifying opportunities and new approaches
- Producing feasibility studies, master plans, business plans etc to establish a project's viability
- Acting as a catalyst by initiating exemplar projects
- Providing a private sector contribution and perspective
