3 August 2012.Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has appointed Matthew Smith as the new lead director of its Nottingham office, taking over from Mike Hanson.
The news follows the property company posting second quarter global earnings results on the New York Stock Exchange with revenues of $921m (£592m) - an increase of 9 per cent.

"We have a great team of people in Nottingham who are advising on some of the region's most prominent projects," he said.
"I am looking forward to building on our current successes, as well as working with the teams to grow our market share and influence in the region going forward."
Ian Cornock, JLL lead director for the Midlands, added: "Mike Hanson has made a significant contribution to the success of the Nottingham office during its years as King Sturge before the merger and more recently with Jones Lang LaSalle.
"His new role opens up exciting opportunities for himself and Mat Smith."
The Nottingham office of JLL is based in Park Row and is one of 34 offices across the UK, employing 2,700 staff.
