24 August 2011Warranty services business Domestic & General (D&G) is planning another recruitment drive after making more than 150 permanent appointments to its Nottingham base.
Since its recruitment drive in December, the company has given 150 temporary staff permanent positions and made 200 contract extensions to fixed-term workers.
D&G, which employs 800 people at its Chaddesdon House base, is now looking to take on more staff.
Tracy Burrell, HR manager at Domestic & General, said: "We regularly recruit large numbers of employees to help us during our busiest periods. We initially look to appoint people on fixed term contracts or on a temporary basis, but we are delighted to say, that since our last recruitment drive, we have been able to offer 150 permanent positions.
"As a company we tend to offer more than the average call centre, and people can really go on to have long and successful careers with us with the potential to undertake training and really move up the ranks within the company."
